Join us Sunday at 1pm
We gather together to worship God, pray, learn, and encourage one another. Everyone is welcome!
What can you expect?
Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect. We try our best to help everyone feel welcomed and to understand the different parts of our services.

The church isn’t a building, it’s people. And people matter to Jesus. This means you can expect people to welcome you and say ‘Hi.’ If you’re the quiet type, don’t worry. We’re not pushy, but we do want you to know that we’re glad to meet you – and we’d love to get to know you over a coffee! We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at one of our Sunday worship services.
-
We do everything we can to present Jesus. Our sermons are about 30 minutes long, and while this might mean you’ll learn some helpful things—that’s not really the point. The point is centering ourselves around the truth about who Jesus is and what he came to do.
-
Every Sunday is a dress rehearsal for living into a different story. We each have a part to play. Liturgy means “the work of the people.” We incorporate classic expressions of worship so that every person plays a part in the service. Liturgy helps walk us through the beautiful story of the gospel of Jesus. The songs and readings, the prayers and participation, are arranged in a way so that we rehearse the good news of God’s grace to us.
-
We love music. And we love to sing. There is a depth to music that we love exploring. We sing songs that are Christ-centred, crafted well, and help us to respond to who Jesus is and what he has done.
-
We have communion every week. We believe communion (also called the Lord’s Super) is the pinnacle of Christian worship – it’s the climax which we’ve been building to during our service. In communion, we are embracing and proclaiming the heart of our faith, and the prayers of communion explore and explain the wonder of Jesus’ death for us. As St. Paul writes, “As often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.”
-
Please note that at this time we don’t offer any children’s ministries, although we hope this will change in time.
Children of all ages are welcome at our service! If your child needs to stretch their legs and run around, there is also a nursery available down the hall which you are welcome to use.
